San Diego Comic Con is a multigenre convention held annually in San Diego, California. It was founded as the “Golden State Comic Book Convention” in 1970 by a group of San Diegans, which include Shel Dorf, Richard Alf, Ken Krueger and Mike Towry.
Comic-Con International: San Diego is a non profit educational corporation dedicated to creating awareness of, and appreciation for, comics and related popular artforms, primarily through the presentation of conventions and events that celebrate the historic and ongoing contribution of comics to art and culture.
WHAT TO WEAR
Many Comic-Con goers dress up as their favorite character, wear Steampunk attire or just go in their normal everyday clothes – possibly throwing on their favorite ball cap featuring their all-time favorite superhero.
For those into comics but not that into comics, tend to go for a more casual look adding a snapback to their everyday attire.
